More something other to play than World of Warcraft Youtube videos!

I have a few more videos on my youtube channel on reviews of other free to play MMOs. Don't worry, the pay to play mmorpgs are coming too, not just trials. I am one of the many trying to get into the World of Warcraft cataclysm beta, also I am trying to get into a few betas with NDA still on (Non-Disclosure Agreement) like Terra and Star Wars the Old Republic.

Need for speed World

I've got the need, The need for speed:

If your into racing games then you know the Need for speed franchise. It's a great franchise going back to the good ol' days of PS1. Guess what? They're coming out with a MMO racing game. I've got the inside scoop on this game.

Overall look and feel:

This game looks great, feels good (Especially if you hook up your 360 controller to it) If you enjoy good looking racing games, then this one is for you. I loved the character creation screen, you choose an icon for your driver then a car. You choose from some pretty nice manufactures when you start too. (Mitsubishi, Toyota, Dodge, VW) Starting the game just gets you pumped to play it.

The game, and how you play it:

Look, racing games are simple right? Gas, brake, E-brake, but what race types does it have? I'll tell you. When you start off you start off in an open world (sort of like burnout paradise) then you go into a single player race to get you started off on the right foot. After two races the world opens up a little bit. Then you can start going into multiplayer races, sprints even. After a few more levels you get curcit races. Inbetween all of this you can go straight to pursuits with police. You can level up that way also.

Customization?

Would it be a Need for Speed game without it? Of course there is! It isn't as in depth as I would like it to be. They need to take some ideas from Forza or GT. All of the things you expect are there, decals, performance packages, different cars.

Final word?

I love this game mostly because i'm (sort of) into cars. The over all customization and feel you have when you play this game is fun, sleek and just easy to pick up and play. By the way, did I ever mention it's free?

This is need for speed world, A free racing game coming out July, 27 2010. Come join me and many others in playing this game. Soon I will be uploading a review on youtube about it
